Call for Proposals: Now Open!

We are thrilled to announce that Call for Proposals for this year’s Philadelphia Trans Wellness Conference (PTWC) is now open for both the General Track and Continuing Education Tracks: Legal, Medical, and Behavioral Health. Do you possess insights, experiences, or research that could spark transformative conversations? Whether your expertise lies in community advocacy, medical care, mental health, legal protections, or beyond, we invite you to share your knowledge and wisdom with the trans, nonbinary, and expansive community.

What is the Philadelphia Trans Wellness Conference?

The Philadelphia Trans Wellness Conference (PTWC), held annually since 2001, offers a space for trans people and allies, families, and providers to come together to re-envision what health and wellness means for transgender and gender non-conforming people.

Why The New Location?

After scouting multiple venues across Philadelphia, we found that Temple University can host dynamic programming for this conference's needs at a more sustainable price than past venues. Temple University is well connected to public transit and parking options and is a short train or bus ride from Center City Philadelphia. The campus contains ample green space, dining options, and local food trucks for lunch during the conference.
